During the Christmas time, the streets of the city shine at the light of comet stars and colourful candies. It is impossible to overcome, even for those like me who don’t trust in Santa anymore… the Christmas markets in Vienna bring me back to these magic moments, waiting for the midnight to unwrap the presents all toghether.

And wich location in better than one of the most romantic and fascinating places of the city? Schönbrunn castle of course, where the Princess Sissi used to live! From there, the visit continues to Maria-Theresien-Platz, Freyung, Karlsplatz and the Prater public gardens with their huge panoramic wheel.

For a sicilian like me, used to the warm weather of the south of Italy, it will be hard, but believe me, it will be worthwhile!
